Person-Centred Support

Everything we do at Greater Care Support starts with the person. Before we talk about services, rosters, or funding, we talk about you — your goals, your preferences, your vision for your life. We believe that support should be shaped around a person's life, not a person's life shaped around their support.

This means taking the time to truly listen. It means being flexible enough to change when your needs change. And it means always asking: 'What does this person want?' rather than 'What's easiest for us?'

Our Core Values

Dignity & Respect

We treat every participant as an equal — with the same respect, courtesy, and consideration we would want for ourselves or our loved ones. There is no place in our organisation for paternalism, assumptions, or disregard for individual preferences.

Empowerment

Our goal is never to create dependency. We aim to build confidence, capability, and independence. We celebrate every milestone — big and small — and actively support participants to take on more in their lives as they feel ready.

Inclusion

We are committed to being an inclusive organisation. We welcome and affirm participants of all cultural backgrounds, gender identities, sexualities, ages, and abilities. We actively work to remove barriers and ensure everyone feels genuinely welcomed and understood.

Accountability

We do what we say we will. If something goes wrong, we own it, fix it, and learn from it. Our participants and their families can always expect honesty and transparency from us — even when that's uncomfortable.

Continuous Improvement

The disability sector is evolving, and so are we. We invest in ongoing staff training, stay current with NDIS policy changes, and actively seek feedback from participants and families so we can keep getting better.

Active Support

Greater Care Support embraces an Active Support model — a best-practice approach that focuses on engaging participants in meaningful activity and decision-making every day. This is about every interaction being an opportunity for participation, not just task completion.

Safeguarding & Zero Tolerance

The safety of our participants is non-negotiable. We operate a zero-tolerance policy toward abuse, neglect, exploitation, and any form of conduct that compromises a participant's safety, dignity, or rights. All concerns are taken seriously and acted upon immediately.
